Tags
Group sessions by topic or project so you can filter, browse, and reopen related work faster.
Usage
Use Tags to organize sessions into reusable buckets such as customer name, topic, campaign, or project stage.
Tags are helpful when Recent alone becomes too crowded.
Before you start
A tag is only useful if you apply it consistently.
Public tags and personal usage counts may appear differently depending on where you access them in the UI.
Step-by-step instructions
Open Tags from the sidebar
Use the Tags entry to browse all available tag groupings.
Assign tags to a session
Open the session and apply one or more tags that match the project or topic.
Filter by tag
Select a tag to narrow the visible sessions to that specific theme.
Maintain the tag set
Rename, recolor, or remove tags when the current grouping no longer helps.
Tips and examples
Start with a small, consistent tag vocabulary instead of creating many overlapping labels.
Use tags for durable project structure, not for temporary one-off notes.
Combine tags with good session titles for the fastest retrieval later.
Common problems and fixes
Why can’t I find a session under a tag?
The session may not have that tag applied, or you may be looking at another tag variant with a similar name.
Why are there too many similar tags?
The workspace likely needs cleanup. Merge duplicate naming patterns and settle on one standard.
Why is the color inconsistent?
Tag color is a presentation aid, not the real identity. The name matters more than the shade.
Can I rely on tags for public sharing permissions?
No. Tags are an organization tool, not an access-control layer.
FAQ
Should I tag every session?
Tag the sessions you expect to revisit by project or theme. Not every quick test needs a full taxonomy.
Can one session have multiple tags?
Yes. Use that when a session belongs to more than one project dimension.
Do tags affect transcription quality?
No. They only help organization and retrieval.
What is the difference between Tags and Knowledge Base?
Tags organize sessions. Knowledge Base stores reusable source material and searchable documents.
