Shared Sessions
Publish a public session page, copy the share link, and revoke access later if you need to close it.
Usage
Use Shared Sessions when you want another person to open a public view of a session without giving them your full workspace access.
This is useful for customer reviews, editorial approvals, class notes, and external collaborators.
Before you start
A shared session creates a public link. Anyone with the link can access the public page until you revoke it.
Check the session content before sharing, especially if it includes sensitive names, transcript text, or private meeting details.
Shared Sessions management lives in the user menu and related session sharing controls, not inside every help page.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the share flow from the session
Use the share action on the session you want to publish.
Copy or open the public link
After publishing, VoxStudio gives you a share URL and lets you open the public page directly.
Manage existing shared sessions
Open Shared Sessions from the user menu to review active public links.
Revoke when needed
If the link should stop working, revoke it from the management dialog.
Tips and examples
Treat a public share link as external distribution even if you only sent it to one person.
If the session changes after sharing, re-open the public page yourself and confirm the visible content is still what you want to expose.
Revoke old links when the review cycle is over.
Common problems and fixes
Why can’t my reviewer open the page?
The link may have been copied incorrectly, revoked already, or the public page token may be incomplete.
Why is the wrong session visible on the public page?
You may have copied a different shared link. Verify the session title and creation time in Shared Sessions management.
What happens after revoke?
The public page stops being accessible through that share token.
Does revoke delete the original session?
No. It only disables public access to the share page.
FAQ
Can I have more than one shared session at once?
Yes. Shared Sessions management is built to list multiple active public links.
Can viewers edit the session?
The public share page is for viewing, not normal workspace editing.
Where do I manage old links?
Open Shared Sessions from the user menu and review the active list.
Should I share private customer calls this way?
Only if you are sure the public-link model matches your privacy obligations and everyone who can access the link is expected to see the content.
